I very rarely photograph cats, even though I have 4 of them. What tends to happen when your a full time photographer is when you finish work you put your camera away and don’t pick it up again until your next commission, which in my case is usually the next day. On this occasion I didn’t, instead I followed our cats around the back garden (dyserth mountain) snapping away, shouting at them to pose beautifully, which of course they took no notice of, why would they, their cats. A good exercise in patience I thought, I haven’t spoken to the wife’s cats since. Notice how they started out as our cats but finished as the wife’s cats.
