Banksy’s latest work found on the streets of London

Above is what is thought to be Banksy’s latest work which appeared in the early morning on the streets of London. With Banksy’s work usually having a political agenda  it is more than likely raising issues of child labour on the back of the Diamond Jubilee. The mystique surrounding Banksy’s identity was supposedly exposed by the Daily Mail last year. The thought that Banksy was from an under privileged background who grew up on a council estate was crushed, revealing his background was in fact public school, middle class and married to parliamentary lobbyist.

Whilst Banksy’s work always raises interest, there is a stir happening around the streets of Chester. An unknown artist’s work is appearing on the streets of Chester, after much investigation we are still unable to reveal who it is. The work you can see below however does reveal that there is no political agenda, but his/her agenda seems to be what really makes the world a better place to live and that is LOVE. If anyone has any idea who the artist is could you please contact info@conceptwedding.com

SHROPSHIRE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

It was a cold but dry day for Kate & Tim’s wedding photography at Delbury Hall in Shropshire, as much as you could hope for in January. The weather may have been cold, but without sounding to cheesy, there was a warm & loving atmosphere through out the day and plenty of emotion. I was a bit disappointed in Tim (the Groom) chasing birds on his wedding day, it was a first for me to see and I managed to capture it on film (sensor) for all to see and below is the evidence. Seriously though we had lots of fun with Kate & Tim, they make a great couple and we wish them all the best for the future.

NESTON WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

We were on a tight schedule and had 10 minutes to take Ellie and Tom to Parkgate to get shots of them alone. The sun was falling from the sky at a rate of knots and we still had group shots to photograph. Take the easy option, no, not Concept Wedding. We thought we do some contre jour shots, translated it means “into the light”. Shooting into the sun is a technique that would send shivers down the spine of most photographers with such a short time frame. But Ellie and Tom were so easy to work with we knew we could get some stunning images of them and the DB6.

MOONLIGHT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AT INGLEWOOD MANOR

Zoe & Matthew had 5 minutes to spare before the first dance, the moon was out, I had a wireless trigger for off camera flash, an umberella and a fantastic assistant. Add to this imagination and vision and this is what we come up with. Stunning if I may say so myself.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AT INGLEWOOD MANOR

I have been that busy photographing and editing weddings I just haven’t had the chance to blog. Over the next month I will be able to catch up on the blogging front. I just couldn’t resist this blog. Below is a photograph from Zoe and Matthew’s wedding at Inglewood Manor on the Wirral. I think they thought I was a little Mad when I took them into a run down out building by the tennis courts at Inglewood Manor, especially since Inglewood has so many fantastic spots for photography. I thinkk this shot is going to be one of my favorites for while.

Queen Hotel Chester Wedding Photography

There is now doubt the Queen Hotel Chester is a fantastic location for a wedding.  As a photographer it has other benefits as well as the stunning interiors, it is a stones throw away from Chester Railway Station and 5 minutes from Chester Park. The railway station is a great location for some quirky wedding shots and I know just the tree in Chester Park for some breath taking images , I have even used it to shoot an album cover there. The shot below and many more took less than 45 minutes, you don’t have to give a lot of precious time on your wedding day to get stunning photographs, just take a look.

Portmeirion Wedding Photography

Portmeirion, North Wales, Wedding Photography by Concept Wedding

Portmeirion, the Italian village on the North Wales coast near Porthmadog is a fantastic location for a wedding and the photography. The hotel interior is beautifully designed and finished and the views are exceptional to say the least. Just look at the view outside the Peacock Suite window in the photograph of the flowers. I will remember Carole & Brian’s wedding day for the laughter and stunning location. There are just too many stunning locations and laughter to include in this blog, especially since I wanted to include Carole’s Mum wardrobe malfunction (her shoes) and one of the guests tripping as she arrived.

Landscape Photographer of the Year 2011

Good news today, I was informed I had been short listed for Landscape Photographer of the Year 2011. Nice title and a nice £10,000 to go with it, here’s hoping. Living the view was the title of the brief. Two of my images short listed certainly show life in the landscape, in fact they could be showing life being created in the landscape.

Northop Hall Wedding Photography

We couldn’t have asked for better weather for Kaye & Rich at Northop Hall on Saturday. All the children loved it, little Sasha finds a heart shaped piece of confetti and seems to contemplates love (how cute) , Ted and Josh on the swing think its all about them and it is, the pressure gets to Liv and he hits the bottle and Kaye looks stunning in the broken sun light as does Rich. Just a few shots that tell the story of the day with lots more to follow. Have a great honeymoon.

North Wales Wedding Photography

We have a wedding photography shoot at Northop Hall tomorrow but meanwhile I thought I would catch up on some editing. We had great fun with Katie and Steve, but this shot is of Steve and his Best Man. The idea of this shot was to look cool whilst jumping of hay bales, sorry Steve you just didn’t look cool, but it is a great shot of you both.
